With this new album, Helrunar are getting far away from the melodic soundscapes of “Sól II: Zweige der Erinnerung” (2011) and the songs aren’t fast like in the debut “Frostnacht” (2005) – times and moods are changing. Nevertheless, the bleakness, heaviness and oppression are still alive. Still concerning the melody that starts to run low in Helrunar’s veins, we can find two melodic guitar solos or leading moments.
